As long as the second year is a team option. He can replace GV for 1.5M less

Melo is a douche, he wanted to be in the big apple and getting payed knowing this team will suck for a few years while still run by a crazy owner who acts like a GM when he feels like it.

Big mistake not signing with Chicago.

Melo is nothing but a selfish diva. Great scorer though.

0-3 in OT with 1 turnover....kinda says it. Let him keep his talents in NY. They deserve him and his contract.

They only made it to OT because of him. He's surrounded by junk.

BOSTON -- Carmelo Anthony says a published report stating that he is considering waiving his no-trade clause to green light a trade for the New York Knicks is false.

                          Melo wears #7.

That might be a Lin plush from 2011-12.

Melo hated Lin during Linsanity ... im sure he would LOVE to see this

The short answer is no...but one cannot discount that some brothers here might think it's a good idea....you know...the superstar complex? Just trying to bridge the discussions to game time!
It's funny, I was just thinking about this yesterday. He's hard to stop offensively. But yea, he's expensive. Bulls still have a better chance of snagging him by signing and trading both Butler and Gibson straight up.

Does this really need to be asked? He's basically a much more expensive Rudy gay.
                                And not as good defensively.
