Apparently they had a players only meeting headed by Lowry.
inb4 "me, Derozen and Lou need to take more shots."
If that meeting started with anything other than "sorry guys, I made terrible turovers tonight, and my d was garbage - this one's on me", then this team, as a team, is finished.
And I'm gonna guess that's not how it started.
"Stop eating your sushi."
"I do actually have a pair of Uggs."
"I've had three cups of green tea tonight. I'm wired. I'm absolutely wired."

They probably discussed how to get even more shats for the perimeter players!
BTW, I'm really admiring what the Hawks have done the past few years. Gotten rid of all the me first iso players. Joe johnson, Josh Smith and Lou.
Its not even the players fault. Casey I swear only has the "fist up" offensive set. He really allows the players to have freedom which causes a lot of ISO ball. Can't blame the players if we are giving them the freedom to just run around crazy.
We ran and executed more offensive sets for Hansborough 3s than we did JV post ups
Let that sink in...
This the reason TH shooting threes is a problem. Whether or not he makes them he is the second best rebounder and pushing him out to the perimeter makes a poor rebounding team worse.

If you think THAT's the reason he shouldn't be shooting threes, I've got a bridge to sell you.
If he was hitting them at a 50% clip, would you really have a problem with it?
Based on season averages, 73.0% of our shots are taken by our guards....
Of some other teams
POR = 52.8%
ATL = 55.8%
GS = 62.8%
SAS = 67.7%
Spurs may seem high but of their big men only Duncan is a scorer...also watching their offense doesn't make you want to gouge your eyes out because their bigs touch it enough that the ball still moves in and out.
Casey, and even our offensive assistant, should be drawing some serious investigation right now...this is utter crap
You guys are missing the point.
Every one of those teams have a decent center and a high skill level 4. Toronto is carting out the ghost of Amir Johnson and Patterson, who, has shown he isn't the real deal. JV isn't a big time #1 option in the paint just yet. When he can step out and knock down jumpers easily like other good centers he will likely see a few more shots.
think bosh would look nice on this team right now?
