    • I'm convinced we're going to lose every crunch-time decision game, because whenever we find ourselves in that situation, Lowry seemingly gets the ball and drives recklessly to the rim every time despite being short and not that athletic. Of course the defense is going to close him and if he has that kind of tunnel vision it will never work.
I can't believe we lost twice to Davis-less Pelicans.

          • Shot selection is the main problem.

DeRozan is shooting 39% from the field and yet he continues to take difficult shots.

Lowry is shooting 41% from the field, 32% from 3 and yet he continues to bomb away from 3's. Really long 3's too.

Don't get me started about Vasquez.

            • This is not a team developing and going through growing pains. This is badddd coaching way too much iso and Lowry and Derozan have been horrible for over a month now. All stars have a bad game or 2 not what Demar and Lowry are doing now. Demar looks like a bench player. Lowry looks exactly what his previous coaches said he was. Casey is on his last leg. Its not about the loss. Its the way the team is playing. Demar just pops up and shoots whenever. Kyle is even worse. Casey dudeeee... Why not throw a different body at Ajinca. Wtf are we paying Steisma for. Give bebe a minute he might surprise you. Casey's stubborn mentality is his downfall. To Masai. You are preaching development but no decent player would want to come play for a crappy team in Canada.

                • The explanation from Casey is you need to give the ball to your best players towards the end of the game. Its a fair point.

the only problem is our best players are good players not great players. and this is why you dont treat borderline good players as great players. If you think Demar is an all star and a great player. you have to live with results like this sometimes.

Can you explain to me why they don't attack the rim more?

Because they're big time stars now? DeRozan thinks he's Kobe. And Lowry thinks he's a big time star because he started at the All-Star game.

I'll get started about Vasquez. I'm rewatching that last inbounds play and getting more and more pissed off. Amir sets a high off-ball screen for DeRozan, effictively takes Cunningham out of the play, and Asik fails to hedge, leaving DeRozan 100% wide open and rolling toward the basket. That's a simple play, but it was a play and it was totally effective at creating a wide open cutter going to the basket, directly infront of the inbounds passer. And Vasquez simply watches it pass by and then inbounds to Lowry instead. That's a total failure on the part of G.V. Total failure. What's the point in even running a play if your inbounder isn't going to pass when it works perfectly?

                              • Derozan is a poor-man's 2014 Kobe. Yuck.
