Nothing we've seen from Casey makes me think he has the sense, or more importantly guts to do that.
He honestly loves those guys. He basically said in an interview this year if he had a son he would want him to be like DeMar. I'm sure he loves Lowry's fire and DeMar's work ethic. All three of them say the same thing every time: "those are our shots" "they just didn't fall tonight, that's all."

I think he's loyal. He clearly trusts Amir, DeRozan and Lowry. End of games, doesn't matter if they're playing good or bad. They;re going to be on the floor.

His loyalty is costing up games. He should take notes from Carlisle regarding what he did with Rondo.

Its not loyalty. Casey is forcing them to play like that. Bench Lowry and Derozan and JJ and and whoever replaces Lowry will eventually suck. Bargs -> Gay -> Demar -> Lowry

                  Casey: the efficiency killer.

That's the worst part. Good teams work to eliminate their reliance on low-percentage shots.

Instead, our guys build an entire offense around low-percentage shots.

Actually, we also need a defensive PG specialist for nights when Lowry doesn't feel like defending (far too often nowadays) and guys like DJ Augustin, Jarrett Jack and JJ Barea start going off. That would a worthwhile 15th man.

Not only that but so many teams gear their offense to allow those shots. They are willing to give them up because.....surprise!.....they are not good shots.

Guys have off nights. When your offense relies on a hot hand night in and night out it is only a matter of time before you'll get burned.

The nature of the playoffs only increases those chances of getting burned in my opinion.

For sure. And there's zero reason to expect Casey to make any changes. If Lou wasn't taking fallaway 25 footers, he'd have no role on this team, lol.

Which is the real Raptors? The team that went 24-8 during the first 2 months of the season? Or the team that's gone 13-12 during the last 2 months?
