Are you saying you would rather be in Philly and New York's position right now instead of in 2nd place?

Yea but we're not in 4th now. And I would still rather be in 4th than in last or 2nd last place. We need less pieces now to take us to the next level than if we were in Philly's place. I'm sick of cheering for crappy Raptors teams. If we want to attract good players, we need to actually be somewhat competitive for an entire season or two.

The team had a few holes to fill and a cap space issue. He did quite well getting JJ & Lou W. and JJ can be used as a big (pf) in small ball situations. If there was an acquisition that should get a redo it is, imo, Stiemsma. In retrospect this was a waste if DC wont use him...is he really that bad?
                    He ain't no Hassan Whiteside....

Does Javale Mcgee's potential buyout with Philly move a needle for this team? A rim-protecting backup C? Masai connection is inevitable. He is a need in crunch-time since JV is yet to be trusted by his coach.

Not having a Back up C is not what's wrong with this team.

You're still getting on him for not getting your guy?

                            1. You're complaining about the 20th pick.
                            2. It was rumoured the Spurs were going to take Bruno
                            3. Fort Wayne is affiliated to 13 teams, the FO can send a request for playing Bruno, but they can't force their hand. The Spurs can play whomever they want on their D-league team.
                            4. lol 22 PPG in the D-League

This would be a big move !!! He will add them some Vet presence and provide a good competition in the training sessions and ...
I be very happy with MU if he managed to do this.

Did you just call Javale McGee a veteran presence?
