- Lowry was given a rest day Sat and reports are he will likely sit out Mondays as well according to TSN.
- Raptors slipped to #3 in the standing after the Knicks loss with the Cavs just a .5 game behind...Raps could fall to #4

I hope Lowry sits this game and Demar gets a "rest" day benching as well...have a look at what having the offence run through JV as the focal point for a game looks like (probably efficient) and send the msg to our All-Stars...shocking Im gonna say this but that its also time to seriously consider giving Ross's minutes to Landry Fields. We were outscored by a mind blowing 40 per 100 possession in the 16min Ross was on the court vs NYK! Fields is an above average defender and point forward which is what we need right now.

I would start Lowry (or GV if Lowry hasn't gotten the message yet), Fields, JJ, Patterson, and JV. Not like the shooting can get worse than what DeMoron is doing, and Fields plays defence. Keep Derozan in street clothes.

GV/Fields/JJ/PP/JV is what im thinking as well if Lowry sits again like the reports indicate...I want both DD & Lowry resting this game but I doubt Casey will ever rest both his "all-stars" in the same game, maybe having Demar off the bench for a game while Kyle misses a game in his hometown will send them the msg about efficient basketball and light a fire under their asses. End of the Day we need them back to themselves cause we're only going as far as they take us.
