people are simplifying the offensive rebounding issue to just not boxing out. You can only box out when you have position, which the bigs have to give up to come to help when john wall walks thru the lane every play. So it all comes back to the raptors biggest defensive issue all year which is penetration at the point of attack.
side note: It could of just been the alcohol, but I thought Terrence actually played hard and looked pretty good defensively on wall."you can't be playing checkers, on no chess board yoo!" - D'angelo

If a HEAD coach has sufficient tools at his disposal, questions himself on who to take out (despite the wings he's talking about shooting horribly), that coach seriously needs to look in the mirror and ask if he's ready to be a playoff "HEAD" coach.
IF Casey doesn't make adjustments in game 2 (moving forward), this series is done.#Raptor4Life, #Prepping4thePlayoffs

I wish we had picked up Vince Carter in the off season. I know he didn't bring the defense like Johnson, but he brought the veteran presence that could help calm our young players and someone that would hold players accountable for bad play. And we all know Casey trusts veterans. It also would have added way more hype to the season.

Part of the problem is it is very individual-dependent. DeMar accounts for a big chunk of our FTAs, as do Lou, Kyle and Jonas. So if you slow down those guys getting to the line, the whole offence suffers. And the way we play makes it a bit easier to plan against, with tons of perimeter iso and a lack of motion. It becomes fairly easy to load up the D on those ballhandlers and take away their space to get into the lane...and well, we know Jonas is not going to be consistently involved. And that doesn't even count the reffing.

Too bad Casey coudn't even get him more than 22 minutes while our defensive stoppers Lou and GV played 32+

It's been brutal, but has given me to rage on Casey even more.Axel wrote:Now Cody can stop posting about this guy and we have a poster to blame if anything goes wrong!!KeonClark wrote:We won't hear back from him. Until then, opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and they most often stink
