You could say the Cavs made a mistake, or you could watch the Cavs win a ring in the next couple years...really they just did what Lebron wanted, and that was probably the right call.
I agree even though LeBron said winning for the CAv's would be a lengthy process he influnced a win now mentality

Nothing new for nba player to do that.

Westbrook did same thing recently but he did it in OKC.

I found it notable he did it in toronto not Minny.

Not a big deal I know but does nothing to squash hope for future.

Does such a minimum exist? If so, Hayes is still in his rookie year
No such minimum exists. So long as you play in a regular season game, you are a rookie.

anyone else watch Maple Jordan's speech for ROY? 1st off you can tell he is still a kid, and 2nd, he referenced Canada everytime and before he mentioned Minnesota, and his goal for next year is "make the all-star team cause its in Toronto", he's definitely already thinking about playing for the Raptors! rooting for this kid make it to the level where he is in the same conversation as LeBron & Durant, great for us in about 5-6 years...
What type of improvement number and skill wise does maple Jordon need to do to become an allstar?

None at all really, just needs to do what he did, plus maybe a little more, but on a winning team.

He needs to learn to get his teammates open looks when the defense focus on him. No alpha dog, title winning wing players avg 2 assists a game

yea he doesn't need to do much... if he continues to plays how he did after the Dec 23 game against Cle, averaging 20-5-5 with his lockdown, defensive player of the year type defence, he should be a lock as an all-star reserve at least.
