At best, it means that Masai is loading up on talented defenders to once and for all allow Casey to prove he isn't a NBA level coach.

Yeah, not sure I like getting Aminu as a depth wing, it's just not where we should be spending money right now. But if treading any of Johnson, Ross, or DeRozan is in the cards for this offseason, then yeah, Aminu is definitely the type of guy I'd like on the team.

Knicks are apparently the "frontrunners" for Greg Monroe and Aaron Afflalo, and a front line of Calderon/Afflalo/Melo/Monroe/Porzingis would more or less be the biggest turnstile lineup of starters in the entire NBA.

Knicks are apparently the "frontrunners" for Greg Monroe and Aaron Afflalo, and a front line of Calderon/Afflalo/Melo/Monroe/Porzingis would more or less be the biggest turnstile lineup of starters in the entire NBA.

Don't think anyone expects Porzingis to start. Plus Langston Galloway starts at PG.

I think it would be a terrible idea.

The team would then be on the clock for 3 seasons before he could walk for nothing.

We are not getting Cousins, he's either gonna sign with the Lakers or the Nuggets.

I think, we are getting Paul Millsap, with 2 years 18 million contract
We are still left with 5 million left
We use 3 million contract on Al Faroq Aminu for two years.
We use 1 million on Jordan Bachynski for a one year service
We use 1 million on a vet PG like Calderon for a one year service
We trade Ross and JJ for Galinari

We might go over the Luxury tax and sign a backup SG and either a third string PG or PF/C

Why does Millsap leave Atlanta? They got to the ECF. Won 60 games in the regular season. Same team is back (minus Carroll probably). Atlanta has some money (new owners). Is it really that awful playing out there?
