  • ESPN's rumor section also suggests that Orlando is open to moving down from #5, if the right trade comes along.

I wonder if a combination of DeRozan, Lowry, #20 and possibly the lower of the two 2016 1st round picks (definitely not all 4 assets) would be able to acquire multiple top-10 picks (ie: #5 and #7)?

I'd love to rebuild around JV and multiple lottery picks.

    • Love might be available according to Zach Lowe.

Griffin has repeatedly said the Cavs plan to keep Love, but plugged-in executives around the league continue to predict the Cavs will sign-and-trade Love after advancing so far without him.
Sounds like the Draft/Offseason is going to be batshit crazy. Makes sense, max deals this year are more valuable than ever.

Cause if we can move Demar for the 7 (especially with keeping our #20), you draft Hezonja or Winslow and pick up Woods or Looney at the 20 and you don't look back.
I'm down for Winslow + Looney

          JV
          Looney
          Winslow
          Ross
          Lowry

Not great but would be more exciting than last year

Orlando has a lot of youth at all positions.

I wonder if the Raps were able to get #7, if taking on Frye would be enough to get to #5?

I was high on Porzingis last year predraft. Nothing has changed that. I wouldn't take him over Towns, Okafor, Russell, or Mudiay though.

I really like the high end of this draft class.

If we could get cousins and manage to keep Lowry and Demar, give up everything and take back anything they don't want.
Trade everyone else on the roster and every pick to get it done and we should be able to attract somebody in free agency

valanciunas, patterson, s&t lou and amir(if thats possible) 2016 knicks pick for cousins, thompson, landry
im sure masai can find a home for those bad contracts but if not, they wont be that big when the cap rises
accoriding to trade machine raps - 8 wins, sac + 5
Lowry and DeMar would be the worst possible combination with Boogie unless they add another ball to the court.

I actually think that could be a really solid team (although I think it'd make more sense to start PP but if you start him, the bench is hurt a LOT) with enough potential there to make some serious noise as soon as next season (2016/17). Especially with a motion offense instead of that ISO stuff.

                          • When you read reports about teams wanting to trade out of the top 10, and I've seen a few from different sources, you have to assume that in the vast majority of cases they don't mean all the way back to #20, unfortunately.

Also, people still think Bennett has potential? Based on what? Belief that NBA coaches, stats and watching him play are all wrong? You can wait and sign him after his 4th year isn't picked up. I wouldn't give Minny anything for him.

LaVine is a subpar version of DD with better shooting mechanics, so I guess there's potential there.
