I think the raps should maybe try and target Mitch McGary via trade

with Kanter's massive contract, ibaka, collison and durant playing some 4 then McGary must be attainable

If we are really starting Scola then I could see McGary taking over that role before the end of the year.

Why is everybody obsessed with these pfs that are a slight upgrade or no upgrade at all? hes a great backup but aarent we better off waiting for that championship caliber pf?

He's like the anti-PP --- not a stretch 4 and works inside. Great rebounder. More likely to turn into a Amir than a PP. Not sure if you got a look at him when Ibaka was injured but he looked good.

He's on a rookie contract and has great potential. If he could be had a reasonable price why wouldn't you want him?

Because a "reasonable price" would probably a first round pick plus more. OKC has no issue holding on to the kid collison is on his last legs. They probably envision him as their ibaka backup for the next 10 years

Nyk1st is practically untouchable to me unless yyoure getting 1st team all nba. Masai could possibly draft a franchise guy for our NEXT core. This core is a bridge to keep the people in toronto interested. Lowry-carroll-ibaka-JV is still a long ways from a finals team. Were basically the hawks at that point, a few more wins but snuffed out by the real players

I think both sides say no.

OKC doesn't need DeMar taking possessions, and we aren't trading away that pick for Ibaka (though he'd be a fantastic fit with JV)

they want/nay desire, a player to replace what Harden brought years back. a player to dominate the offense off the bench as a supersub.

You also have to remember in those years Ibaka had a smaller role and they didn't have a post player like Kanter. How many possessions can they really give to a guy like Demar?
