Am still holding out on hope and that Masai has himself not gone on record saying Casey is the man. Last thing (I recall he said on Casey) was everyone was to be evaluated including the coach. I stand corrected but all pronouncements were made by pundits citing sources.

I think Thibs will be a better coach for this experience. There is a lot of bsfloating around his tenure in Chicago. The facts are that his team played hard for him while there. The real issue is that his good friend and asst. coach Ron Adams was fired because he carried the water for Thibs when he criticized the negative moves made for the team re personnel. I dont pretend to know what happened but there seems to have been an override on what Thibs wishes were re player movement or drafts. The current NBA is a collaborative enterprise. There was a diff. of opinion.

Now that both Orlando and New Orleans have their respective head coach, do we have a shot at Thibs? Do we want Thibs?

I do. I believe he is the best available coach. He has a great work ethic and demands the same of his players. It is pretty much a guarantee that the current Raptors team will greatly improve defensively at the very least.
