  • This is the trade that will go down on draft night.

    To NYK
Kyle Lowry, JV and Channing Frye

    Out:
    Bargnani, Jose, #4, Smith

    Why?
NYK wants to win now, Lowry is an allstar PG who will pair well with Melo to form 2 of their 3 stars. JV gives a great young center to man the middle. Move still keeps them about 22 million under the cap with lots of room to fill out roster.

    To Orlando
Demar, Jason Smith and the 20th

    out:
    Frye, Fournier and the 5th

    Why?
Orlando has plenty of youth and needs a player to take leadership role from the most certainly to depart Harris, Also need help up front and Smith is a very solid, yet unspectacular pf. Team stays in draft at 20.

    Detroit in:
    GV, PAtterson, Ross

    out:
    #8, Monroe S&T 11 per starting

    Why?
Detroit wants a floor spacing, and in this return they are getting 3 guys who can all do just that and are ready to Immediately contrubute. Detroit is rumored to want to see Jenning moved and this opens door for a trade to houston, with GV filling backup duties behind Jackson. Ppat starts next to Drummond and opens everything up. Ross adds defense and shooting.

    Toronto in:
    #4, #5, #8, Monroe S&T 11 per starting, Jose, Fournier, Bargnani (exp) - Buyout?

    Why?
Toronto rebuilds FAST by picking up one of the two most dynamic pgs in the draft and what will likely be the most athletic defensive bigman in the draft. Monroe will fill the role as new starting PF. Jose and Fournier bring depth and shooting off the bench
team would be looking at about 22-23 million in capspace as well..perhaps

Danny Green - 11 mill starting
Brandon Wright - 6 mill starting
    Lavoy Allen - 3 mill
    Reggie Evans 1 mill
    Jimmer - 1 million

    Mudiay/Jose/Jimmer
    green/Fournier/Jimmer
    Stan Johnson/JJ/Bruno
    Monroe/Allen/ Evans
    Stein/Wright/Bebe

If a player does not have a contract for next season than they can not be traded at the draft or at any point before they sign a new contract mid July, and they must agree to the specific sign n trade as part of the contract negotiations which are finalized after the League Moratorium(sp?) ends mid July.
