Yes. But it is not much more valuable than cap space, and possibly less so since it is only useable in trade and not in free agency. And depending on how much other cap they have left after the Joseph deal and depending on what numbers come out of the moratorium, they might be better off waiving him than using him in trade.

Besides, 20 mil is not a lot. Nets would love to get that much production from PG position for 20 mil.

7.026M. So in my best-case cap assumptions (Carroll and CoJo backloaded, 69.1M cap), we have 4.1M left. In the worst case, that uses it all (7.1M).

Not really. Have to waive TPE's to use cap space, which we will use to sign Carroll. And the TPE was only 6.5M anyway, so it wouldn't fit.

Hmm, 20M wrapped up at one position out of 5, with the cap over the next few years being 90-100 million... One fifth of our cap space on one fifth of our players doesn't seem too egregious to me.
