It's Friday night and going into the weekend where there's not as much traffic on here, especially with the long weekend. I'd like to have my 2 picks in by 7 or 8 tonight... It would just be nice if people said if they're going to be away for a while, as others have already done. Scraptor even gave up his team.

If you give notice that you won't be around, like, say, Miek did earlier today, then I'm fine with a long grace period. At least we know what's going on. But if you go totally AWOL, then I'd say even a 12 hour grace period is generous.

I told everyone early week that it was long weekend for me and I would be doing family stuff like Zoo and whatnot, but I will put my bigboard in my phone and check every couple hours. No reason anyone can`t do that.

Guys are PMing letting Axel know their biglist so he can pick if needed.

If something comes up that keeps you away for 12 hours without so much as a pm, or a post, then your life is too busy to be doing this.

Well technically you replaced someone who was dubious at best with their RR activity level. You were specifically recruited for your special kind of crazy.

I'm fine with waiting but I'm just 1 of 16. The original idea would be picks every hour or two with mad flurry of activity a few times per day. I was hoping we would be almost done round 4 today. Now it's dragging into Friday evening (where only the coolest of kids get to hang out at RR - especially on a long weekend). Whatever the people are fine with. As I said all along, making this up as I go.

I wanna make it clear in not criticizing, just opining. This was a great idea and you're doing a great job playing it by ear as the commish. I understand people's impatience, but, for example, it's a long weekend here. Should people cancel their plans or be pulled away from their families etc. just to complete something that was supposed to be for fun?

I'll be away from Saturday afternoon to most likely Monday around noon. If I get to make my picks soon, it's a 32 pick wait, which, at this rate means my absence won't matter much. But it's like... I don't wanna have to give up being in this league just because I want to enjoy a weekend away with my family... But I also don't wanna give up a nice enjoyable weekend with my family just to share in a joint fantasy with 15 other dudes

For the record, this is also the long weekend going into my week summer vacation from work, with a preggo with and a toddler. If anyone has shit on the go, I can certainly relate. But I got my big board on my phone notes and keep checking to see what progress (if any) is made. If you are struggling to find spare time, drink more water (yes the RR crazies are the ones checking their phones in the bathroom).

Lots of people have been offline for long times but they have been up front and made arrangements where possible.

The draft was always intended to take longer than the actual tournament and ideally, we would have started at the end of June and planned for a longer draft.
