Talent trumps everything. His no worse than Kyle Lowry. We only have two players right now that can go off like this. Gives the team a whole other dynamic

Why get a average talent with an above average knucklehead when we can draft someone better with the Knicks pick
that pick to me is either Jamal Murray or Best available Power Forward

Agreed, with a top 8 pick you draft best player available, not best fit at the time.

Also the Knicks pick would never get traded but we basically have to trade our own pick, you can't have a contending team with that many young guys (2 draft picks, DWright, Powell, Bruno & Bebe).
Just pointing out that there are 5 PF's (or SF/PF or PF/C) in the top ten @ NBADraft.net, best player available is very subjective. It doesn't always align with the black & white view of the world of fans or NBA analysts. Otherwise the draft would never deviate from consensus picks.

You really need to stop with the baseless comments.

          Morris 15 techs last season.

          Lowry 8.

Ya but Lowry was seen as a problem before he joined the Raptors.

Big degree of difference between the two problems. And that's before you also take into account the legal problems.
"My biggest concern as a coach is to not confuse winning with progress." - Steve Kerr

He was seen as a problem with McHale. What does that have to do with technicals? Lowry didn't start racking up major Ts until he became a Raptor. He had 4 year before joining. Morris has had 2, 5, 12, and 15 thus far in his career.

My response was to the notion that Lowry is as bad as Markieff. Nearly twice as many techs as Lowry last season is not "nearly as bad".

Technicals aren't really that big of a deal. As long as you don't get ejected/suspended it's just a foul shot really.

Here's the leaders in techs last year, http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/pl...technicalFouls.

It's filled with All-Stars and great pros. It's not a be-all-end-all indicator for a players personality.

                            Yes.

I provided that link to you 2 posts back.

It also has 4 members of the Suns in top 15 with Markieff leading the way.

He comes from a culture of sulking and whining on the court.

                            No thanks.

                              Yeah, totally disagree.

It is a free point which isn't huge.

Timing is a big deal though.

The first T in the video is a good example.

Down by 3 with 1:57 left, teammate gets a T then he picks up a T as it is being sorted out?

                              Pass.

I agree, you can live with it as long as his production on the court remains high and doesnt hurt the team chances of winning then it's a net positive, just like Rasheed Wallace change of scenary from Portland to Detroit was a net positive for Detroit.

Having said that Markief Morris is no Rasheed Wallace.
