Batista is still below Joe Carter's blast in 1993 in both epic timing and etched in memory.
Funny how two Carter's have given us two moments in this city sports history ... On your note ... Joe Carter's moment happened
happened a year later from this city celebrating a World Series and so as fans we were spoiled at that point .. Batista moment was 20 plus years in the making ...

Don't understand the appeal to that. Give me the MJ fist pump any day over the "I cut one" look.
haha, no one makes the stinkface when they do it themselves...it's the "who cut one" look. Nonetheless, ain't no fist pump gonna be comparable to that bat flip, unless it's a fist pump to the opponents face. Gotta have some attitude to go with it!

He hasn't attained Joe Dumars phone wizard status yet, but we can still hope.

Carter was a walk-off home run to win the World Series.

Joey hit a go ahead home run in the first round.

Not comparable, regardless of the 20 years of frustration that separated them.

Agreed. Had social media been around when Joe hit that beauty, it easily would of broken the internet.

Only two moments would even be close and I don't think either one is even close:

                        - VC in Game 3 against Philly in 2001 where he went HAM and made like 9 threes in the first half and scored 50. It was the most dominant performance by a Raptor I have ever seen. The crowd was delirious with random people hugging and dancing in the aisles.

                        - The Alvin Williams game winner in New York.

It shows you how sad sack the franchise has been that you can go back 20 years and can't find any signature moments....

The boys celebrating after winning the division last season was pretty sweet too.

Note the three coffee mugs on the desk. Dude is working OVERTIME. The only reason the 386 is off at the moment is because he just hit "Send" on three different emails in 60 seconds and it broke AOL.
