How the hell can you have a percentage above 100%? This is why I don't like TS%

        The formula is Pts/2(FGA + (0.44 x FTA))

So practically, it's not possible. But then there's Steph.

TS% is basically the percentage you would have to shoot if every FGA (and a FGA for roughly every two FTA's) was a two point field goal. So he literally would be hitting more shots than he's taking.

To have a TS% higher than 100% you basically just need to have more than twice as many points as FGA+(0.44*FTA). Possible to do in an individual game (although very difficult if you're taking a lot of shots), basically impossible to do over several games.

If you take 10 shots and no free throws, you would need to make 7/10 and all 7 would have to be 3s to be over 100 TS% for example.

So, watching this game, I've come to the conclusion that we're just fucked as long as Steph Curry is in the NBA. Jesus, this is unreal.

                15 games over .500.

put that in your stat pipe and smoke it.

While you're busy looking at a book, they are busy getting wins.

We were 37-17 last season. How did that turn out in April? Yes we are better positioned this year BUT....

That's why you draft really well and worry about a future with JV, cojo, veteran demar..and hopefully u get a pick or a current d leaguer that turns into a star.

In the meantime you stay competitive and hope the landscape changes. In doing that you also stay attractive to free agents now and in the future.

Need JV to have a bounce back game defensively tonight. He's been pretty bad last couple games Portland doesn't really have a real mobile big. This game should fit him better.

Biyombo's been pretty bad too on defense. He needs to step up as well.

Ha. And how does Minny feel? They are in the same conf. and they picked Jonny Flynn just before Curry in that draft.

Rubio and Flynn. They picked 2 PGs, and fucked up twice

Our D picked up last game when BB came in. BB only plays more than JV when his having more of an impact on D.

Yeah Biyombo looked lost on d vs denver and not a whole lot better against Phoenix

                                Tough game tonight.

Was a bit surprised we're only 1 pt favourites, but the Blazers have been playing good ball. They've won 9 of their past 11, and this year have home wins vs the Clips, OKC and a blowout of the Cavs.
If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.
