We won't hear back from him. He dissapears into thin air and reappears when you least expect it. Ten is an enigma. Ten is a legend. Ten for the motherfucking win.

Until then, opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and they most often stink

    • I think Gasol will sign with the Spurs. Rumor is that he's waiting for Durant to make his decision and then Gasol will decide. The only team really courting both is the Spurs. Durant is expected to stay with the Thunder and sign a 1+1 and if that happens or he signs anywhere but San Antonio then you will see Gasol sign there.

Yeah, of course... but Ross was also part of those 'good defensive lineups', so it's hard to say whether the lineups were propping him up or he was one of the ones doing the propping up. All we can say with certainty was that he was part of our best defensive lineups, which would seem to speak in his favor.
which lineup are you talking about here?

ross was also part of all the 'worst defensive lineups' as well. hardly indicative of anything.

            What? No he wasn't.

9 lineups played over 100 minutes this season, Ross was part of 4 of them. The lineups he was part of ranked 1st, 2nd, 5th and 7th.

He was part of the top 2 lineups, and none of the bottom 2 lineups.

            • i seriously doubt that shedding salary to sign a 35 year old pau gasol for 20M /year is a good move.

Especially if the entire argument on the defensive side is 'it can't be worse than Scola!', because Scola was a big problem on that end.

gasol at 4 actually might be worse than Scola at 4 actually.

                  • I'm cool with Masai taking chances on a few players much like he did with BB and Anthony Bennett last year. Stay away from these crazy contracts and look for under performing players with upside. His only mistake was not signing BB to a longer deal for a bit more money. Getting a player's Bird Rights seems to help quite a bit.

                    • Roll with Patrick Patterson as a starting pf. Go small with Demarre Carroll. If Pascal Siakam can bring some energy and not be liability out there go with him as back up. Maybe make a deal at trade deadline.
Only one thing matters: We The Champs.

I mean, can you say our rotations this season were completely sensible?

Ross was good as a starter.

"Ross is on the block." is literally something none of us know. It's assumed he's traded if anyone is because he's tradeable, that's it.
Masai is on record that he wants to upgrade the 4 and backup 3. That's his sense of the lineup. Don't think he's contemplating starting Ross. Closer to trade bait than starter.
Multiple reports said Ross for Noel. He's not on the block at all costs. He's fringe core atm. Several players are trade-able, Ross is more expendable. The debate is the return of value, not his value to our team.

                        • 2Pat and JV together had a offensive rating over 120 and a net rating over +15 in 400+ minutes this past season. They're great together! This is not a terrible plan.

Or you could say he was part of 2 of the top 3, and 1 of the bottom 3.

His DRPM was -1.41 and his on/off DRtg was -3.1, both of which tell us more than picking and choosing lineups based on an arbitrary minutes cutoff.
