Just wait like 2-3 years and this nickname becomes a big thing here.

We'll be saying either "The Cake is a bust" or "The Cake is a stud."
    The Cake is a lie.

Guys, power forwards. Why would we trade Ross for a wing? We are trading to fill a need.

I'm feeling like 'standing Pat' is the plan... not sure how we can do better.

That would probably mean at least 10 MPG from Carroll at the 4, then 10 MPG of Siakam or Poeltl (less likely IMO) providing PF minutes.

Have to think plan A is still to find a trade for a starting PF.

Or at least a PF we can platoon with PP to fill minutes.

Hopefully we'll be talking about how The Cake was a "sweet" pick

So whos skillset does this guy compare to? I saw him shooting 3s on his workout and midrange. He looks fairly quick, whats stopping him from playing the 4?

I just hope Casey doesn't force him to bulk up. He is quick, let him stay and play quick.

If you believe this then we should just trade JV.

People said the same thing about Jonas...and he dominated in the Playoffs.

I'm going to hold judgement until the season.

The idea is that JP is going to have to play the 4.. where he isn't a good fit.
