Sam Bradford looked really good last night for a guy who just showed up. He had timing issues with a few guys but for the most part did really well against a Packers defense that was at his doorstep routinely. Everyone on air thought the trade made sense and was needed if the Vikings intended to compete. Collinsworth praised the move actually, pointing out that Teddy may be out for a couple seasons and this may be a long term move even depending on how that goes. If Sam can improve a little on last night they have what they need to be a factor against the best in the NFC. That defense looked sharp even despite injuries.
Meanwhile the Packers are having their typical September. I don't know who does the schedule but they're not a Packers fan, they don't see their first home game until September 25th.
