If Vancouver NBA fans weren't interested in watching the Grizzlies lose, I don't see why'd they'd want to watch the Raptors lose.

If somehow Hedo returns he'll probably be even more "tired" than last season, given the WC's in Turkey and then the trip out West. I for one can't wait to hear his excuses again.

British Columbia is very well known for their "Mary Jane". *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*

And Beasley, rumour has it likes to take the odd dance with "Mary Jane".

Fan interest wasn't the problem in Vancouver. It was the fact that American owners didn't want to have their team in Vancouver.

I understand what the hardcore fans say, and I've seen the numbers, but I was also living in Vancouver at the time and I can say without a shred of doubt that by the time of the lockout most people in the city has given up.

The team had limited support, media critics that would make Leafs fans blush, and ZERO buzz in the city. Did Vancouver outdraw Memphis? Well, yeah... Vancouver is double the size, and the team hasn't improved much.

I'm not claiming the NBA couldn't have survived in B.C. I'm just saying that the experience isn't one that anybody I know would be eager to repeat.

Anyway... I was making a joke about the Raptors, not Vancouver. Lighten up.
