With that title I was expecting the actual players Toronto wants back from each prospective trading partner. I knew it was too good to be true.
Yeah, but I think most of us want that TPE to get young talent and draft picks - not just to save salary.

I don't like the way Woj worded it. Salary-clearing? If we wanted to clear salary, we'd just let him walk. The TPE is so we can try to get something of value from another team without losing our over-the-cap flexibility. Since we'd only want the TPE if the team we're directly dealing with has nothing to offer, it isn't exactly a bad thing.
Ya, that doesn't make much sense. Salary clearing would be getting rid of existing contracts. Bosh isn't an existing contract. Obviously the Raptors would like to get young talent, but the chance of finding enough young talent on a team to match Bosh's contract is pretty slim. It would most likely be a combination of a young player or two, a draft pick or two and a trade exception for the difference.
i would want at least one veteran mentor to come back in any S&T some one like battier would be good
