There's a number of things that I think would affect the league's perception of a players' value. For example:
1) A team may have a better ball distributor than the Raptors, which may lead them to believe they can get more out of Bargnani offensively than we can.
2) A team that already has strong interior defense coming from their forwards may be able to overlook Andrea's shortcomings.
3) A team desperately seeking shooting or spreading the floor may see more value in Bargnani than we do.
4) A team with a defensive specialist big man might be looking to mix things up and see Bargnani as the perfect complement player.
