I just watched a documentary on HBO2 called "Magic and Bird:A Courtship of Rivals". It was the best sports documentary I have seen in a very long time.
It took you back to a very fierce rivalry between two of the games greats. I was touched by the bond that developed as both faced hardships in the waning days of their careers. Their careers spanned a period of basketball history which we will never see again.
It deals with the Laker-Celtics rivalry that continues to this day but with the focus on two very unique athletes who were at opposite ends of the spectrum both on and off the court.
Definitely worth watching if you have not already seen it!
