    but oden isn't healthy.

so, really, your argument is pretty much moot.

Correction...he has stayed on the floor a whole season...just conveniently spread out over 3 seasons.

But in actuality, you have a great point about Oden's durability RaptorsFan4Life. He has had some tough breaks (wordplay!) in terms on injuries. So my question for you is, if the rules were not changed about draft elegibility and Oden was available in 2006, would you have selected him over Bargs?

I personally think I would. It goes down to a style thing. I think Oden, when healthy, can have a significantly larger impact on the game then Bargnani.
No I wouldn't of because he had a history of injuries coming into the draft. I'd of picked Bargs or someone else without a history of injuries.

    I actually liked Morrison.

ya never can tell who's gonna be good man. People put WAY too much emphasis on the draft.

Aside from a few sure things.... it is what it is... an educated gamble.

I was not trying to insinuate that Oden is healthy, merely trying to stir discussion. And like you said about Morrison, you really can never tell. I personally would have drafted Oden if he were in the 2006 draft. And I still think I would, even knowing what I do now about what he has gone through these past few years.

Morrison is now a bust. But I used to be a huge fan, he could have been pretty great in the NBA. Moustache + crying during loss = awesome NBA player.
