Maybe Bargnani will be in the next Gaga video?![]()
Looking at the list, searchers may have been thinking "hot Italian babe". Strange there were no other sports people on it.
Guys get off the fallacy that Bargnani is a freakin PF just because he plays away from the basket, and that Amir plays defense where Bargs should most of the time. That does NOT make Amir Johnson a damn centre, and to say in the same statements that Davis cannot be a C where Amir can?? If the team makes Bargnani a PF fine, it just means the team has NO centre, not that Amir Johnson, or Barbosa, or Jose for that matter is the Centre by default.
Just wow. Watching games is one thing, watching them with any basketball IQ...quite another apparently.
Looks like Mulitpaul's been busy. No wonder he hasn't posted on this site lately. =)
dude when you say a "legit centre" or "true 5" it generally means more than he just has the size to play the position.
Bargnani has the game of a small forward in a (big) power forwards body. The only thing about him that screams centre is his size.
It's occurred to me lately that if Bosh stayed, and learned to meld with Bargs, we'd have a potent front court. I remember being excited at the possible one/two punch of big men Toronto would have in Bosh and Bargnani. Bosh, Bargnani, Evans, Jose and Barbosa; now there's a nice starting five.
I'm beginning to think that Brian actually had a vision. To bad Rupaul messed it up.
Bargnani played as well offensively as a 7 footer can play in a ball game. Shot a high percentage, drew fouls etc. Makes me wonder if it wouldn't be better for him to be more heavily controlled from the bench than allowed a wide latitude in what he does on the floor. When he has a purpose, it seems to have been instilled by the coaches, not by Bargnani himself. In many other games, it seems like Bargnani doesn't know what he wants to do with the ball out there. That's crazy. There's not much he can't do with it, so he should have a good idea every time he catches it, but instead you can see the gears grinding. He played so confidently and self-assuredly out there last night that it was almost like looking at a different player.
not very impressed they had a guard playing defense on him, he is suppose to drop 40!
Bosh, Bargnani, Evans?
Did you mean Kleiza, or were you thinking of staring Bargs at SF, since he plays like one?

I find it hard to believe that porn was not in the top 10. Maybe its censored out? But choosing Bargnani over nubile boobs? And who the hell is Stedman Graham? His name is so pretentious I want to piss in his cornflakes even before I find out. I haven't heard anything about Jessica Simpson since 2009 when she gained 50 lbs. Is she in a sex tape or something?
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.
Go Bargs! Many would have you in the D-league, but I have faith.
I was thinking (believe it or not, lol) about which players wouldn't be missed if traded. When JJ was traded there wasn't a peep of dissension. Everyone liked the trade. As much as I like Bargnani, I think that if he was traded, there would be elation on the fan boards. Other than Kleiza, I can't think of anyone else who wouldn't upset fans if they were traded.

Those are absolutely great numbers. He still looks like a deer in the headlights on defense. I do expect him to improve, though. His contract may soon seem like a steal.
And What what, maybe he is a beard. Perhaps Nawal Ayoub Valderrama is a lesbian. She is way too hot for him.

Better mis-matches on most nights. See quick players like Amare, who are traditionally PFs, they light up on Bargnani. Bargnani has a better chance, defensively to guard big, bulky centers like Marc Gasol, Noah, Bogut... And on offense, he brings out the 'bigger' man, and it's more helpful to the team. But as you said, there is no traditional C or PF anymore.
