+1 Agreed Im still saying move him but if there is nothing worthwhile might as well hold onto him a little longer and him playing this role as 6th man will only make his value increase as he will be way more effecient in that role look more attractive to potential suiters. Im not a big fan of the Ilyasova trade Bargs could net the team a whole lot more imo. The deadline is in a week and some days he currently has the flu his value is fluctuating like crazy between meh and ok trade him when value is higher, worked wonders for Ed and Calderon.

This is reality and tonight's performance against Denver was proof of that. It's one thing to have porous defence, after all Amir and Jonas were just as culpable. +1 on the amnesty idea. Why give away young talent and/or picks along with him in a trade for another overpaid player? Maybe we could make a splash in 2014 free agency. If this team makes the playoffs next year, FAs might actually want to sign here.
If if Bargnani is amnestied, the team would still be over the salary cap and therefore only able to sign free agents for various exceptions. The Raps wouldn't be able to offer big contracts, unless done via S&T deal.

If Colangelo could pry Ilyasova from the Bucks for Bargs, I'd never speak a bad word of him again. Not only would we get the better player, the Bucks would become worse and give us a better chance of catching them!!
AB is no spark of the bench. Last night he had 3 chances for a rebound in a sequence and got zero. He did have a block in this sequence but Knicks eventually scored. He gives no effort to go for ball unless it drops in his lap. Casey knows it but at least now Casey is playing to win games not appease the golden boy.
