if they're winning, i'll take a 10 & 2 from him, and not whine about it at all.
Wins baby, wins.
We should've got rid of that stat padder Bosh along time ago and got back some valuable pieces for him.
All fans wanna see a winning team. I'm sure the Clippers' fans wouldnt mind trading stat-man Blake Griffin in exchange for making it to basketball in May.
Winning cures all ills.
Toronto wins, players will come.
Toronto wins, the calls to move the franchise or contract the franchise stops.
Toronto wins, Bargnani can start the healing healing process of the whipping wounds.
I didn't realize it was a choice between one or the other.

actually, bosh took a lot of shots last year, if you dont count the games where they were blown out and he sat down early, or when they blew out a team and he sat early, youd probably see his stats up to 23-25 shots per game and for me thats a lot.
However, its a 50/50 thing, because all the games he attempted more than 20 shots, half of which they won, and half they lost.
exactly. i think what people still fail to see is that we are the only ones, the fans, who are putting the franchise player label on bargnani. he said it himself in an arena link interview after the celtics game, they dont have superstars like garnett, allen and pierce but they just play hard. ive surrendered to the fact that andrea is not yet capable of being our franchise player but really, everybody should not care about who it should be, as long as theyre winning, and working on a plan (cap space, youth movement) leading to success in the future.
Win or lose, good stats or bad, I just want to see some entertaining games, solid effort put in by the team and to see young players start to develop their game and make progress. And sweet Jesus, not another thread about Bargnani's rebounding.
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Sometimes, I like to buy a book on CD and listen to it, while reading music.

--Quentin Tarantino...to say that I can't do that(say "nigger") because I'm white, but the Hughes brothers can do that because they're black, that is racist. That is the heart of racism,...
I think he took roughly 16 shots a game. 2 more than Andrea last year and I believe less than Andrea is taking now. Is Andrea a stat padder because he's taking a lot more shots? I don't think he is.
Unless you're a volume shooter I never understood how you could be considered a 'stat padder'.
For rebounds, going to get the ball is going to get the ball. I don't believe in 'stealing' someone's rebounds. Is Reggie Evans a stat padder because he will fight to get the ball with any other player including his teammates? I don't think so.....he just has a greater desire to go get the ball.
No worries about the harshness.
I agree with everything you said. As soon as the issue of contraction came up a month ago all Leafs nuts on TSN.ca started going on about get rid of the Raptors they suck, this is hockey town, BC blows, etc. There were also plenty of American media (NYTimes or NYPost is hte one that stands out) that were talking about the Raptors should be moved.
Again, I agree with all you said. Those who talk about contraction in the same breath as the Raptors are beyond stunned - they are ignorant. Raptors are one of the best attendance franchises over the last 15 years despite few years with winning teams, 4th largest market, one of the higher valued franchises, and they turn a profit each year unlike Memphis and Bobcats to name just 2.
Here are some articles:

This was just a quick search of Google News with "raptors contraction". Notice they are all American media who also state Americans don't want to play for TOR.
I did not agree with this but the comment and thoughts are out there.
"I'm sorry to be harsh here, but this is an incredibly ignorant comment made with obviously zero information."
I never make a comment without being able to back it up. If I do make a comment without information I always throw in "IMO".

Did I miss a 10-game winning streak or something?
The team is NOT winning. Just because they recently won a few games doesn't mean the team is a success or that it will enjoy future success this season. If you think that because they recently beat Boston without Rondo that they've got a shot at the playoffs, you're delusional.
The team is starting Reggie freaking Evans to compensate for Bargnani's inability to rebound the ball, and therefor basically playing 4v5 on one side of the ball. Bargnani's inability to play help defense means they're playing 4v5 on the other side. The team isn't going to win consistently until every player on the floor contributes positively in multiple categories and minimizes the weaknesses of the unit rather than simply compensating for them with players equally flawed in other areas.
Fact is, the only specialists you find in the starting lineup of playoff teams are wing defenders that can hit the 3 and not turn the ball over, or big men that rebound, block shots and generally protect the paint. There's a very good reason for that.
