Where did you get that info from? Shamsports has them listed at $14.5M - exactly the same for Bosh & Lebron.

stupid decision by BC if this is true, melo would be a good decision but we cant give up our whole team just for melo you know
This is from Chris Broussard at ESPN.com.One source close to the talks said Sunday afternoon that the deal could be clinched if the Nets can find a fourth team willing to absorb Johan Petro's salary.
The Nets and Nuggets, meanwhile, have not stopped looking for other teams beyond Detroit that would be interested in joining the trade, since Denver does not have a strong need for Harris with young guard Ty Lawson on the roster. New Jersey and Denver have likewise continued to discuss trade possibilities with the Nuggets that don't involve any other teams.
So my question is, you think Devin Harris (and Petro to a lesser extent?) is someone BC is interested in? Are you guys?
This might be the only way we can get involved at this point if you read the latest on the trade with DEN, NJ and DET.

(note: I had this in the Let's NBA forum and brought it here)
This is the latest rumoured trade for Carmelo Anthony.

Just a small exchange.
From stuff I've read, DET does not want to add Petro and now seeing DEN does not want Harris, I would get invovled with the TPE.
IMO a 7-footer making only $3.25M a season would be nice to have - it is not like the guy could not get moved again especially to a team needing size heading in to the playoffs for a late first round pick (Orlando?).
Also, IMO, Harris would have value around the league. Surely he could fetch an expiring and a decent draft pick (Portland, Sacramento?).
*EDIT* NJ has 5 first round draft picks over the next 2 years. Giving it a little thought Harris will be easy to flip for DEN so they probably take him on even though they may not 'need' him for the same reasons the Raptors would take him on. DEN is reportedly getting 2 picks which I would guess are NJ's 1st round pick this year and GSW's 1st round pick next year. If I am BC I offer to take on Petro using the TPE to get back the 2011 2nd rounder DET has from Delfino trade and the Lakers 1st round pick from NJ. Teams typically spend up to $3M for a draft pick - 2 more seasons of Petro at $3.25M each is about the same. Also Petro might be able to be traded before the deadline as well. The idea of helping an Atlantic division rival sucks but it is obvious Melo ends up in NJ or NYK - NJ is definitely the lesser of 2 evils.
Just some thoughts.

From what I read and understand, the deal to the Nets would only happen at the trade deadline. This is because Denver wants the Nets 1st round pick to be as high as possible. If the deal went down today, the Nets would make the playoffs.
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.
Source: ESPN.comMultiple sources with knowledge of the talks expressed optimism Sunday that a three-team deal involving the Pistons featuring at least 15 players -- with Rip Hamilton and Chauncey Billups winding up in New Jersey with Anthony -- could be completed in the next day or two.
The good thing if the Melo trade is done in the next day or two then it will open the floodgates of other moves. It seems like everyone is waiting for the Melo-drama to end before anyone else shows their cards.
Source: Yahoo Sportsthe Denver Nuggets delivered a stern warning to the New Jersey Nets: Unless the public nature of these trade discussions becomes private, be warned that we will send Anthony to the New York Knicks
Lesson: Don't show your cards and discourage others in talks to do the same.
