    TOR: Artest, Brewer, Flynn
    LAL: Ridnour, Evans
    MIN: Calderon, Weems

TOR gets better defensively on the perimeter - immediately. Calderon's contract is replaced by another - arguably - bad one but at $3M per year less. Brewer is defense off the bench and Artest is defense in the starting lineup. Artest is also a fourth/fifth option wiht the Lakers on offense. The guy use to be a high teen/twenty ppg scorer. He can play. I think he would bring some intangibles the Raptors are desperately lacking.

MIN has Babcock, Martin, and Rubio. What does that have to do with Calderon? Babcock brought him to the Raps, Martin and him are buddies and still keep in contact, Rubio is a Spanish national team teammate. I think he is a great fit in MIN. They need SG's and Weems needs to get out of Toronto before I break my TV.

LAL gets a PG upgrade with Ridnour who is use to the triangle with Rambis in MIN. Phil Jackson has experience utilizing one-dimensional rebounders. LAL also clear salary for next year but take a little hit this year inthis trade.

p.s. He is 'definitely' not interested in trade.

It would be nice if LAL could throw a 2nd round draft pick at TOR as well - they have 3: GSW, NYK, MIA.

Artest in Toronto is a disaster. The man needs to be under the shadow of a strong , respectable coach and a great leader in the locker room. Both elements are missing from Toronto and this would end badly for both side.
