definitely would love to have in a raps jersey, but for the right price. 10mil might be a little too much, maybe in the amir johnson range is ok.
my other concern with perk is he's been in the league for 8 years and he's only 27. given he didnt play much during his 1st year, the wear and tear on his body specially playing a very physical position might be already taking is toll. he might be looking for a big contract as his last.

He looks like he's regaining his form. 6 and 9 in 25 minutes is pretty solid - especially after close to a 7 month layoff.. You won't get him for Amir Johnson money. He already rejected 7 mil + from the C's.

This whole thread is about how he turned down about 150% of 'Amir Money'.

8 years experience and being 27 is amazing.
Think if a guy were to stay til his Junior/Senion year. That makes him 22/23 when he enters the draft.
Kendrick has been pretty solid throughout those years and hasn't been much of an injury liability.

          It's probably gonna take a Bargnani-type contract to get him - 5 years/50 million.

Rather spend a max or close to max contract on someone else.

Kendrick Perkins told CSNNE.com on Monday that Boston's extension offer made to him was for four years around $22 million.

An earlier report by the Boston Herald cited two unnamed sources that indicated Perkins turned down a contract extension that was for four years and worth slightly less than $30 million.

"That wasn't it. They offered me four years, but it was closer to like $22 million," Perkins said. "You talking four years, $30 million! Shoot, that's different. That's a big difference."
