Thought about it, but I don't think my wife would appreciate it.

What'll make it worse is if he tares it up for Pittsburgh. It's very possible knowing his potential. I have a lot of confidence in AA and I'm sure Lincoln won't disappoint us.

Snider was dead weight in Toronto. How many times do you allow him to go up/down before you say "fuck it"? Clearly most people were at that point.

Yes, no matter what he's capable of, the time had come for the Jays to do something. Although it is possible that he could do well it didn't seem like it was going to happen here.

Ricky's struggles should be temporary. He's not the only pitcher who has gone through a bad patch. I'm quite confident that he'll come back to be the quality pitcher that he is. However I think that he is a very good No 2 pitcher, not an Ace. In my opinion Jays need an Ace.

Default Beeston: Future is now for Blue Jays

I hope the Jays organization is really serious this time. They have said this numerous times over the years since '93. We desperately need to get back to the playoffs. You guys think we have a shot at Hamilton or Greinke?

It would be insane to see Hamilton in a Jays uniform. Pretty sure Greinke stated sometime earlier that he didn't want to be in Toronto, but I could be wrong. Enough money has the tendency to change people's minds.

Beeston says(interview) that they will spend in the off-season but not crazily. Hamilton, I suspect will command a highly lucrative long term contract. I doubt he'll be a Jay. I could be wrong and I hope I am. As starting pitching is a priority, Grienke is a possibility. Knowing AA's preference for trades, the trade route is the most likely route. No matter what, the plan is to contend and with a few good additions, I think we can.

We should go after Shin-Soo Choo. The Indians just inked him to a long term contract and my bet is that they'll be trading him in the offseason.

Choo is probably the most underrated player in the league. Good fielder, super cannon arm, but most of all, he's a consistent batter with a career OBP of 380.

Very good point. He'll be a perfect fit as he addresses our right field need. Only question is, will the Indians trade him?

Actually left field. Nevertheless, he'll be a good fit.

The Indians are dangling everyone now. They're in full rebuild mode à la the Marlins.

Choo is alright. He's not my ideal choice. But, he's alright.

Rajai Davis most likely won't have another year like this.

I don't know what the hell they are doing with Romero. He's sucked since mid-season and tgey've done nothing.

Rajai is having a career year(with the bat) for sure. He's a specialist at stealing bases and that's about it. Love what I'm seeing from Ricky. He seems determined to turn things around and it's starting to show. No win's yet but a string of quality outings barring a couple.

no man. he needs to figure hi shit out and stop getting so frustrated.

he's pissed about every pitch he throws that doesn't go where he wants it. it's like chill down and regroup and stop getting so upset because it's not worth it.

If anyone knows that 'getting upset is not worth it', it's Ricky. The fact that he's messed up in the head is an understatement. Again I'm pretty sure that he'll figure things out and return to his true form but still, I don't think he's Ace material. In-fact, that could be one of the reasons he's struggling. The pressure of being the Ace. I think they should look to add an Ace in the off-season.
