Ok, once again going for Utah:

    MIN: JCalderon
    UTA: ABargnani, JBayless
TOR: #3 (Kanter), Okur (salary), NPekovic, LRidnour

Minny, the much talked about vet mentor, friend to Rubio.
Utah gets a new shooter, effectively replaces Okur (who could return on the vet cheap if bought out, or after expiring), and Bayless as their new backup PG starter in waiting? They are expected to take either Fredette at the #12 as well.
Toronto gets their 2nd top 10 pick, takes Kanter and BKnight.

    PG: BKnight, LRidnour
    SG: DDerozan, LBarbosa
    SF: JJ, LKleiza
    PF: ED, Amir
C: Kanter, Okur (buy-out? or keep the Turk for a year for Kanter?), Pekovic, Alabi
Puts the salary around $50M and need another wing or two. Also of note the expiring contracts next year would be $17.5M (Barbosa, Okur). Next year draft a wing.
So... we are trading Bayless, Bargnani, and Calderon for Kanter...?

...and salary considerations ($62.3M committed going out, $29.8M in), and a backup PG (Ridnour) and a backup C (Pedokvic).

Three team deal: Washington, Toronto, Minnesota
        http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMa...radeId=3rnle9t

Toronto Receives: Rashard Lewis, 2nd pick 2011 (from Minnesota)
Washington Receives: Andrea Bargnani, Johnny Flynn, Michael Beasley, cap filler (Alabi + Hayward)
Minnesota Receives: Jose Calderon, James Johnson, Javale McGee, #6 pick 2011 (from Washington)

Lewis has 2 years $46M remaining on his contract. In exchange for taking on Lewis the Raptors get the 2nd pick of the draft and no longer have commitments to Jose/Bargnani.

        PG: Bayless
        SG: DeRozan
        SF: Lewis/Kleiza
        PF: Johnson/Ed Davis
        C: ...

        + 2nd, 5th picks (Ideally... Irving+Kanter?)

Washington picks up some offensive production with Bargnani, a young backup to Wall with Flynn, and a starting small forward with Beasley. They give up their lottery pick but they still have the 18th pick which they can use on a player like Biyombo or Marshon Brooks to fill out their depth.

        PG: Wall/Flynn
        SG: Young/Crawford
        SF: Beasley/Hayward
        PF: Blatche/Seraphin/Owens
        C: Bargnani/Booker/Alabi

        + 18th pick

Minnesota moves down in the draft to #6, loses Beasley, and gets rid of Flynn. They get Jose for 2 years to acclimate Rubio into the NBA, and pick up a decent centre. They'd still have to move Ridnour I think.

        PG: Rubio/Calderon/Ridnour
        SG: Ellington
        SF: W. Johnson/Webster/J. Johnson
        PF: Love/Randolph
        C: Milicic/McGee/Pekovic/Tolliver

        +6th pick

Now that is dreaming, more likely Kanter and Walker/Knight, which I am ok with btw. Rashard Lewis is a poor fit for a rebuild, although I would not be violently averse to him, his contract is horrible. I definitely would not include JJ in this deal as we would need the depth at SF, and I don't see him needed to fulfill the requirements, (certainly since Minny has a few hundred SF's in their pocket).

Creative. Works for Washington in my view, perhaps Minny (although it might be Ridnour out instead of Flynn).

            Another crackpot thought:
(These can be broken down into individual 2-team trades.)
            DEN: BUdrih, MBeasley
            SAC: RFelton, JFlynn, TMosgov, DMilicic
MIN: #7 (KLeonard), JCalderon, ABargnani, FGarcia
TOR: #2 (Kanter), LRidnour, MWebster, JThompson

            DEN: BUdrih, MBeasley
Fill a hole at PF with young potential talent, solve a locker room issue as Felton wants out since he will not be the starter.

PG: TLawson, BUdrih; SG: AAfflalo (re-sign), FAs; SF: DGalinari, #22 pick; PF: MBeasley, AHarrington; C: Nene, CAndersen, KKoufos
Salary:~$45.5M (including Afflalo, plus close to $20M in TPEs)

            SAC: RFelton, JFlynn, TMosgov, DMilicic
They solve their PG position, and solidify C position (still potentially re-signing Dalembert).

PG: RFelton, JFlynn, PJeter; SG: TEvans, MThornton (re-sign), JTaylor; SF: OCasspi, DGreene; PF: DCousins, DJackson, HWhiteside; C: SDalembert?, TMosgov, DMilicic
Salary:~$32M (before Dalembert). Have lots of $ for Dalembert or other FA C, and a solid FA SF.

MIN: #7 (KLeonard), JCalderon, ABargnani, FGarcia
Minny gets vet PG friend and mentor to Rubio (Calderon), an experienced and scoring big (Bargs), and an actual SG (Garcia) to play for their team along with the 7th overall pick. They gain overall experience, Rubio, and still retain youth and potential.

PG: RRubio, JCalderon; SG: FGarcia, WEllington, #20 pick?; SF: WJohnson, KLeonard, LHayward; PF: KLove, ARandolph, ATolliver; C: ABargnani, NPekovic
            Salary:~$46M
TOR: #2 (Kanter), LRidnour, MWebster, JThompson
Draft: KWalker or BKnight at #5 whoever is there. (Even if top 5 as Irving, Williams, Kanter, Knight, Kemba, one of 3 PGs will be there at 5).

PG: KWalker/BKnight, JBayless, LRidnour (still trade bait in JB/LR)
SG: DDerozan, LBarbosa (if no opt-in then $$ for FAs aplenty)
            SF: MWebster, JJohnson, LKleiza
            PF: ED, Amir
            C: EKanter, JThompson, SAlabi
Salary: ~$48.5M. Would likely also sign another bench big.

As for the 2nd first round pick...

To Toronto: Mikael Pietrus, #13 pick
              To Phoenix: TPE

If Barbosa leaves, we have someone who can play the swingman position and is defense first and with that #13 pick, we could still end up with a decent player (TThompson? Burks? KThompson?)

              On Pietrus:

Suns swingman Mickael Pietrus picked up his $5.3 million option for next season, instead of becoming a free agent on July 1.

Now that Pietrus is under contract, the Suns can trade him if they want.

"I'd be surprised if Lon [Babby, Suns president of basketball operations] doesn't make a couple deals on draft day or later," agent Bill McCandless tells The Arizona Republic. "If you have a surplus in one position and a need in another, guess what? 'But if he [Pietrus] comes back, he's looking forward to having a full training camp. It's not the easiest thing, for any player, to be traded and go from Coaching Style A to Coaching Style B and from Management Style A to Management Style B."

The Suns do have too many small forwards and Pietrus is easy to trade because he has an expiring contract.

While Phoenix is a good shot to rid themselves of Pietrus, and quite possibly for the TPE, I am not so sure they would feel they need to include the pick. He only makes $5.3M and their salary situation isn't horrible (they will not exercise the Carter option at $18M from reports earlier in the year). Of course it is Sarver, so who knows.

so bored.... can't wait for draft... SAC-TOR-MIN

Explanations should be known by now.

                  SAC: Bargnani, Webster, Flynn, #20

                  TOR: Thompson, Ridnour, Ellington, #2

MIN: Garcia, Calderon, Casspi, #7 (Valanciunas? Biyombo?)

Raptors take Kanter and Walker/Knight and sign a wing in FA. That is 14 players with 3 PG's which is fine trade bait. Lineup:

                  PG: Walker, Bayless, Ridnour
                  SG: DD, Barbosa, Ellington
                  SF: FA, Johnson, Kleiza
                  PF: Davis, Amir
                  C: Thompson, Kanter, Alabi

You can go crazy and send Bayless for another pick and maybe get a SF like Singler or Honeycutt.

Ok, with the increased chatter (from executives and media) about Biyombo hard in the Raptor's plans, but to me a stretch at the #5; AND with the Houston rumour now
Houston continues to offer the 14th and 23rd picks in the draft to move into the top 10, and could have a willing partner with the Detroit Pistons at No. 8. The Pistons have told teams they won’t trade down until they see who drops to them on draft night, sources said
I doubt BC assumes Biyombo drops that far (to 14) and therefore moves to get Charlotte's #9, Detroit's #8, Milwaukee's #10, or SAC's #7 by utilizing Bargnani or Bayless (but without drafting Walker or Knight I think Bayless stays put).
                        I would consider:
TOR: #9, #14, BDiaw, CLee (if they would do the 2 picks to Detroit at 8, can we pry Lee for the 5?)
                        HOU: #5
                        CHA?: #23, TPE, cash
                        Draft: Biyombo, Darius Morris
                        OR:
TOR: #7, #9, BDiaw, JThompson, CLee
                        HOU: #5
                        CHA?: #14, TPE, cash
                        SAC: Bargnani, #23

                        Draft: KWalker, Biyombo

                        PG: KWalker, Bayless, JCalderon
SG: DDerozan, CLee, LBarbosa? if opts in.
                        SF: BDiaw, JJ, LKleiza
                        PF: ED, Amir
                        C: Biyombo, JThompson, Alabi
Salary: ~$54M (incl. LB & Diaw who would both expire next year for about $17.6M). Trade chips remain in Bayless, Barbosa if he opts in, and potentially Calderon (but he can mentor the PG drafted). Next year can go (hopefully) after a Harrison Barnes or stud SF in the draft.

Not to mention he fills a need with Kleiza on the shelf, shows JJ how to be the new Diaw, and next year we snag a stellar SF in the draft.
