He plays like a SG. What pisses me off the most is during fastbreaks when there is clearly an open teammate right there, he decided to drive. He needs to learn to act like a PG and improve his passing ability.

Portland traded for the draft rights on draft day only to sign a veteran PG for 3 years and $21M. He did not have a shot. When he did play, he played well. See last year's playoffs. In NO he played behind Chris Paul. He did not have a shot. When he did play in NO, he did not play well - just like JJ has not played well there.

Obviously NOH with Demps (who came from SA) and Williams (who came from POR) thought enough of him to give up their 1st round draft pick this year.

Bayless has not been himself since the DAL game at Dallas when he rolled his ankle 3 times in the game. It is very much like Steph Curry this year who has not played up to his expectations due to his rolled ankles at the start of the year. Nagging ankle, or anything, injuries are brutal in the NBA because there is no time to heal due to the schedule.

If anyone thinks JJ played well this year for the Raptors, they did not watch the games at the start of the year. The guy sulked and was a black hole. It was discussed numerous times on these forums around the trade that something changed with JJ during pre-season. He played his way out of here. The reason NOH got him is because he is 'besties' with Chris Paul. All the new stories after the trade were about their friendship.
