Soo I've been waiting for one of these to pop up and there doesn't really seem to be. There's a bit of talk in the Rookie Forum, but thats not really a good place. Soo THIS is now the place to talk March Madness. Early Picks? Pools?

i know nothing about NCAA ball though until the tournament starts.. then i get a tad bit obsessive about it

Nope. No brackets yet. Thats on Sunday. Can't wait!
Once the Tournament starts, thats when the NCAA season Starsts for alot of folks. haha

i have a hard time keeping up with the ncaa... too many teams, player turnover is too rapid.... but i have a very scientific approach to making my bracket picks.

1. the whitest or blackest team that isnt duke
2. funniest named players
3. which school is most likely run by a wacky bizarre religion

BYU is sounding like my favourite right now.... Baylor had my pick last year

UNC eh? Interesting. Not many are going to pick them for the win this year. If you put money on that, you could get some GREAT odds on that Final. I expect to see Barnes play up to the expectations laid on him all year. This is where he shows alot of people who's boss.

For those that are new, these DO NOT, have anything to do with the Final Rankings for the Tournament.
These are solely based on Record. (The Final Rankings take into consideration the teams Conderence, Competition, and they do in the respective Conference Championships.)

I like to fill mine out before the official rankings are doled out, and after. To see how close I can get.
For those that have sat on the sidelines before, I highly recommend getting AS FAR into this as possible.
It's ALOT of fun.

Just finished Organizing a Pool at my work.

Scoring by Round is: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15.
ANY upset is 1.5X the point total for that round.

Donating half our Pool to charity.
Should be lots of fun!

Man Darrius Garrett for Richmond is the MAN! The dood should of had 5 or 6 blocks (got called for a foul on clean blocks). He has such great timing. I wish we had a 2nd round pick, this guy looks like a steal (if he enters). Apparently he had 12 rebounds and 14 blocks last season (in a game).
