  • So has DeMar stopped trying to work on his 3 point shot? I really think he could develop a workable 3 pointer if he put a bit more time into it.

I'm gonna guess that he's working hard on his shot, and that his shooting coach isn't as much of an attention whore as his dribbling coach is.

If you were DeMar's shooting coach would you advertise it?

                • Redrafting the 2009 draft

                  6.*DeMar DeRozan*|*Toronto Raptors*(9)

The Raptors took him ninth overall, and it was a quality decision. He's still not a knock-down shooter by any means, but the athletic wing has been reliable and productive, averaging 17.2 points and starting 431 games in his six-year career.

Based on PPG he is a good player

if that re-draft looked at any advanced stat DD would plummet in the standings

                        Hey!

                        Numbers don't lie!

                        Especially PPG.

It is the most important stat you know.

                        Context is for patsies

There was no name calling in his post, he was indeed talking (with sarcasm) about how 'we' use advanced stats to scapegoat our way out of an argument in the face of box score stats.

He basically called advanced stat users out for using context as our go-to scapegoat

You can be offended all you want but it really isn't going to get you places
