Yah seriously if the Lakers wouldn't trade up for Howard, they sure as hell won't for Bargnani. I think if the Lakers were trading a big it would be Gasol, and then Odom. They probably want to keep their height advantage intact, but with the rumoured off-court troubles between Kobe and Gasol, true or not may warrant enough interest. I still think it would be a shock though.

                  • I dunno, I think it would make our team better (addition by subtraction) and maybe we could steal a draft pick?

anthony morrow is still a better shooter. Ray allen is a better player, can run the screens and get open a hell of a lot better than anthony morrow ever can. But when it comes to shooting 3 pointers in a vacuum, anthony morrow wins.

Too bad games aren't played in a vacuum...

Jokes aside, he would fill a definite gap in Toronto, and be a good pickup. Plays decent D too from what I gather.

well considering he wasn't the better shooter this year:

                            Ray Allen FG% 49.1 3pt% 44.4

                            Morrow FG% 45 3pt% 42.3

I'm not sure what Morrow wins. Then ofcourse you have a Morrow's 3 years in the NBA, and Allen's 16 years. Or Ray's all-time NBA 3 pt leader.

Morrow may one day be a better shooter than Ray. He may have season(s) that are better than Ray's. But Ray Allen is still the best 3pt shooter the league has and has ever seen.

                            • Those are 2, realistic trades, to get veterans centers for next season. Then they are free agents and we get space for Jonas.

I don't like the Okur one has I think you can return something of value for him and a injury plagued/old version of him doesn't quite cut it. However I think the Boston one is a lot more interesting as Bradley caught the eye of management and if the C's threw in a pick I think there would be a good start.
