I personally like jose and think he will be a great mentor for a new PG we might draft.

I'm not sure what that video proves. He's a good international point guard but he is just average in the NBA and also happens to be payed like a star. Does he even mentor Bayless at all?
Yes. Jose's a solid veteran but his best skill (court vision) is not one that he can teach to a younger PG. That is simply a "have it or not" type of skill. If they can find value for Jose and not take back bad long-term contracts in the process, I'd absolutely deal him.
Depends on what happens in the draft. If we get Irving, for sure we move Jose. I'm sure teams like the Lakers and Heat would love to have him. I would hope we'd be able to get a SF or defensive centre for him. It would be nice to keep him around to mentor Irving should we get him but not at his salary.
he's actually the perfect pg for a triangle offense team. it's almost retarded how much sense him to the twolves makes.
but nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I'm not against trading Calderon if it makes the team better, but I see no reason to trade him just to trade him. He's a good solid veteran that works hard, doesn't complain and makes his teammates better.

ye we need to trade him for a backup center, and trade bargs for a pg, and draft a sf

If they draft a PG in the lotto and can sign a good free agent PG then I say go for it.
Yeah, that would also be a good scenario but I hold the stance that the Raptors will still need another PG to help carry the weight because Bayless isn't ready yet.
