Default Hollinger saw no ill reffing in Raps-Magic game

More proof for all the conspiracy theorists who believe Hollinger never actually watches the Raptors game but just looks at the stats. From a recent chat on ESPN:

    Steve (New York)

"I watched last nights Raptors and Magic and as an unbiased watcher that officiating was embarassing and makes me less of a NBA and shows me that officiating is gonna ruin this league."

    John Hollinger (12:21 PM)

"Not sure who's feed you were watching but I saw it start to finish and didn't see anything terribly out of the ordinary."

It could be that Hollinger thinks he'll be fined for criticizing the refs, and that he doesn't want to publicaly express too much support for the Raps.

Fact is Hollinger didn't see anything unusual with the refereeing.

It is standard practice in the NBA for the "elite" teams to be helped to obtain good records just like "elite" players get phantom foul calls to boost their scoring.

The NBA knows a team/player's reputation can be built by the league. So they do it!

    Excellent analysis Steve.

If Hollinger actually watched the game he wouldve saw a foul count of 10-0 while the refs seem to work in unison to call phantom fouls and allowing Orlando to pick up free points at the free throw line with the clock stopped. ANy doubters can feel free to actually watch the 4th quarter of the game and look me in the eye and say "that game was offiated unbiased and fairly".

How can Hollinger pay attention to the game when he has a split screen TV with fetish gay porn. If he bothered to look at the other side he would've seen exactly what I described. As an unbiased fan, the game should be called fairly and it truly is disheartening as an NBA that the referees attempt to play a part in deciding the game.

Seems like that is the case doesn't it?!

...How Hollinger can say that he didn't see any biased refereeing is beyond comprehension.

"How can Hollinger pay attention to the game when he has a split screen TV with fetish gay porn." LOL!!

But yeah, seriously, seeing him write that there was no unfair reffing makes me wanna punch him. I completely feel its just the way the league is - support the elite teams as much as possible, but still, where does he get the audacity to say there was nothing terribly wrong out of the ordinary?
