But to be fair, I considered barbosa and kleiza, but figured i could leave them out due to their lack of play.
What are we going by? Skill? IQ? Hustle?

It depends on what you mean by top players. To me, the best player is the player who makes the most consistent positive impact on the team. My list would be...
Amir
Calderon
DeRozan
Barbosa
Reggie Evans
While I really like Ed Davis, like most rookies, his impact was not very consistent. I expect that to change next season.
There were some games when Bargnani most definitely had a big positive impact, but overall, I really don't think he did. He was the player who had the most POTENTIAL impact, but unfortunately that didn't translate into consistency.

Although if you ask me tomorrow, I'm sure the list will change
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.
Bargs
Barbosa
Calderon
Demar
Ed / Amir
everyone else is fringe rotation player at best, those guys up there are 6-8th off bench or starter worthy, but either way not exactely the best group of players... kleiza could be decent if he gets his shyt together and demoted back to being a jump shooter
This is my favorite lineup off the bench.
Calderone Weems Wright Bargs Evans
If top means value to the team going forward :
ED
DD
Draft Pick
Amir

Derozan
Barbosa
Amir
Dorsey
Alabi
Bayless didn't play consistantly enough all year. If he played like he did at the end of the year all year, Jose would be dispensable and Bayless would be in my top 3. My wildcard is Alabi, I was very surprised at how coordinated and quick he was? I think he has lots of potential. Dorsey is a beast, i'll never forget when he fronted D Howard at his peak and threw his ass out. Should of gotten more playing time.

The only way to bag a classy lady is to give her two tickets to the gun show... and see if she likes the goods.
The five best players, in alphabetical order, based upon what I believe their contribution will be next year:
Bargnani
Calderon
Davis
DeRozan
A Johnson
Not on topic, but I believe the Raptors player of the year should have gone A Johnson or Calderon. DeRozan showed the most improvement but he was not as productive as Bargnani, Calderon, and A Johnson in my opinion.
This Year
Bargnani
Derozan
Calderon
Amir
Barbosa
Potential
Derozan
Bargnani
Amir/Ed
Bayless
JJ
Based on talent (includes the unrealized type):
Bargnani
DeRozan
Barbosa
Calderon
Johnson
- Bargnani
- DeRozan
- Davis
- A. Johnson
- Calderon
Bargnani is still the best player the Raptors have... until DeRozan starts tearing it up next year...

2. Derozan
3. Calderon
4. Barbosa
5. Amir Johnson
