"Players 90% of the league missed out on" should be the title.

What is the point of this thread?
In 2003 when we drafted Bosh we "missed" on Wade, Kaman, Davis West, Mo Williams and Josh Howard, all NBA allstars.....

You should have listed players we missed by 1 or 2 spots. not every player cause these players on everyones missed player list( other then the team that selected them or were to low in the draft.

What about all our good drafts....Stoudamire, Carter (Jamison), Mcgrady, Mo Pete, and Bosh were all very solid picks, add in Demar, and Ed Davis and our record is not all that bad.

Hold on... Damon, Camby, TMac, Jamison(flipped for VC right away), CB4, Hoffa, Bargs, DeMar and Easy Ed are all bad picks? Mo Pete was decent as well as CV for the season he was here.

Wait a second, how did Hoffa get in there...

Granted there were a few misses along the way, but most of those were late teens and early 20's picks which are a crapshoot anyways, a lot of which don't pan out. As far as second rounders a concerned, that's just getting lucky for the most part, otherwise why would all the teams have passed on the player to begin with?

4 players over the past decade, that's good?

                    Where did you get 4?
                    1 Damon Stoudamire
                    2 Marcus Camby
                    3 Tracy Mcgrady
                    4 Jamison/Carter
                    5 Mo Pete
                    6 Bosh
                    7 Charlie V
                    8 DeRozan
                    9 Ed Davis

Sure had bad drafts in 99, 2001, 2002, 2004, and 2006 is an argument with Andrea, but overall our draft history is not bad. Sure we have not found that second round steal yet, but very few teams do that on a regular basis.

If you want to support your argument go for it, but so far it looks like you are in the minority with your thoughts.

You can talk on and on about who we missed, and who we got. But the only stat that matters is that we drafted Vince Carter, the man who single handedly saved the Raptors franchise.

Not to be a d!ck but we drafted Antawn Jamison, GSW drafted Vince Carter, and their draft rights were traded for one another.

You could say the same thing about any team. Including the Spurs, who are probably the best drafters in the league. And they've missed out on Carlos Boozer, Josh Howard, Mo Williams, Anderson Varejao, Trevor Ariza, Ersan Ilyasova, David Lee, Monta Ellis, Amir Johnson, Marcin Gortat, Carl Landry, Glenn Davis, Marc Gasol, Landry Fields. And that's just in the last ten years. Man, are they crap.
