@jerboat
suddenly kemba at 5 is making more and more sense
@jerboat
Nice one. I've always said he's not 5'10" as SOOO many have been saying. Its ridiculous.
There's a reason he's listed at 6'1" on UConns website.

I probably could have put this in one of the general draft threads but I'm a rolling stone
@jerboat
Not bad size, but I am still keeping my options open.
Any link?
Was off chad ford's twitter. There'll probably be a article or whatever a little later on I can link to.
That Morris pg out of Michigan has intriguing size. Didnt see many Michigan games though, no idea how he plays. Apparently he's tearing up workouts.
@jerboat
Extremely capable defender as well
Edit: wait you're probably talking about Morris
@jerboat
That puts all the rumours to bed. However, how much of an upgrade is he than Bayless? While I slowly warmed up to what Walker brings to the table - I do like his intangibles, that size of his and that jumpshot worries me. He'll have to work hard on that jumpshot. If Colangelo selects him, I'll back it. But if Williams drops and Kanter is around at 5 and Walker is the pick, I will admit that I'd be disappointed.
Fully Agree.
I do not think that Kemba is necessarily the IDEAL pick for us, but I wouldn't be against it if we picked him.
I think there are other players that will fill a more apparent need, and as you said, if Kanter is available, then there shouldn't even be a question as to who we take.

Yeah I'd certainly take Kanter over him but it certainly makes the selection of walker a hell of a lot easier to stomach. He's a champion, and that's the type of guy we need.
@jerboat
If Walker is indeed the pick, you know that the selection would be welcomed by at least one of the members of this team (DeRozan). Calderon would have to be gone and I guess if you go small, you could always used Kemba at the 1, Bayless at the 2 and DeRozan at the 3. That would be a shitload of speed and athleticism on the court.
the cross over and pull up on the big pitt dude is still incredible to watch
@jerboat
To me its Kanter or nothing and BC knows that too.
So if Kanter is drafted ahead of us we should put our pick in the shredding machine?
@jerboat
Yeah, I pretty much echo that sentiment. I'm intrigued by Walker and Biyombo - if BC decides either of them are worthy of the pick I'd be on board...but Kanter would be the win of the draft if he fell to 5.
It's not impossible, particularly if the rumours are true that Utah really likes Brandon Knight enough to draft him. This makes sense to me, given they've got Favours, Jefferson and Millsap already manning the paint. Then it's a matter of what Cleveland does. Their biggest holes are on the wing. And when I say holes, I mean massive, gaping holes. I wouldn't be surprised if the Cavs took Jan Vesely at the 3...Kanter available when the Raps draft is not the most likely of scenario's, but it's certainly not the least likely.
First off I definitely want Kanter, and if he slips (assuming we haven't stolen Minny's pick) then BC better take him.
As for Kemba, I am still not sold, I like him to watch, don't want him on my team. I would however definitely look to pick up a later round pick to get Darius Morris. He is described as perhaps the best true PG in the draft, has good size, good playmaking and general offense, runs a team well, and would do well for a change of pace off the bench from Bayless the first couple of years. If Bayless doesn't establish then Morris could maybe become a starter down the road, but at the very least be a solid backup for years to come at worst imo. If we can grab a pick and take him I would be happy.
