  • Chris Bosh + Banks for Joakim Noah + Captain Kirk + 1st Rounder

I think this deal would help both sides

    Why Chicago makes the deal:

They finally get a true superstar big man they have coveted to pair up with emerging star Derrick Rose. They would field an an extremely strong starting lineup of Rose + Salmons + Deng + Thomas + Bosh that could potentially upset someone in the playoffs. They would also be able to offer Bosh max money and potentially be able to build a dynasty around him and Rose. Plus for one of the worst offensive lineups they would certainly improve in that aspect.

    Why Toronto makes this deal:

Bosh is as good as gone in the summer and at least they are getting some type of value before he leaves. Noah is in the running for Defensive Player of the Year in just his 3rd year and is exactly the type of high energy hard nosed defensive anchor the Raptors need. Noah is also one of the top offensive rebounder's in the NBA which the Raptors sorely lack. Having Noah in the starting lineup would allow Turkoglu to take more responsibility in the offence. Noah also represents a perfect complement to Bargnani. He is everything Bargnani is not and vice versa..Bargnani could watch his offensive numbers explode without having the pressure of increasing his rebounding. Best part for the Raptors is Noah is young, affordable and reasonably controllable.

Kirk Hinrich would be aquired to allow Calderon to be shopped for a top draft pick or athletic prospect. Hinrich is considered to be one of the best defensive perimeter guards and could take over back up PG duties seamlessly or even play the 2 if needs to be

Respectfully, what makes you write this. Is there some inside information you have or are you just repeating what the pundits are saying.

I believe there is much better value to be had after the season if in fact Bosh wants to leave. Getting Hinrich (@9+ mill.) as a defensive specialist and bkup guard is not spending your money wisely imo.

Well obviously I dont have any insider Info, when I meant Bosh is as good as gone in the Summer it just my opinion. See I truly believe for Bosh to stay Raptors need to get to the East finals...at least the 2nd round, and right now I do not believe the team is good enough to beat either Atlanta, Orlando, Boston or Cleveland in a 7 game series...which is why I think CB will head off.

But in response to getting Hinrich, the Bulls although they covet Chris Bosh are not simply going to give Joakim Noah away for free without at least shedding some salary in Hinrich. Raptors will have to live with that but I do want to stress what an asset Joakim Noah is...he is cheap, controllable and extremely productive. He is also a perfect fit for the defensively soft Raptors, he has improved every year in the league and there is no doubt in my mind that in 1-2 years he could lead the L in both rebounding and shotblocking.

IMO that is the best value to be had on the Raptors side, getting someone who is not only the right fit but is relatively cheap and extremely productive. Getting Hinrich back hurts us somewhat in terms of salary but then we would be in prime position to flip Jose's 8 Million a year salary making Hinrich somewhat = to what Jose was. If we can flip Jose for a good draft pick we could be getting 2 first round draft picks before the season is done as well

well its only realistic offer. Everyone here thinks they can get guys like Danny Granger for Hedo and propose some ridiculous trade offers...at least this one is even for Chicago, no way they make a deal without trying to get rid of Hinrichs contract..but Noah far outweighs the negative
