I was reading this article and I found it very interesting. With Rubio agreeing to play for the Wolves, the more appropriate action would be to draft Williams but what if Cleavland takes Williams first. You're probably asking yourself, why does this even matter. Well, with Rubio now on board, the Wolves No. 2 pick is a lot more available at the right price. In the article, the Pacers and 76ers were in the running for trading for the pick.
On a Raptors standpoint, if Irving fell to No.2, I think that BryCo would do try his best to trade for this pick. Maybe a package deal, involving our pick and Jose. This way, the Wolves would gain a mentor for Rubio and the possibility to draft another young player. In return the Raptors would gain the best point guard in the draft.
