Wish we'd keep Joey. Always played hard and rebounded. Honestly, are we going to get any better on the end of the bench? Also, he appreciated being here and being given the chance. Even though my head says there are any number of Joey's around, my heart kinda' goes out to the guy!

I won't miss both. This does mean that Evans is definitely back? Also, they have Alabi and I prefer to use the money to get a three point shooter. This team needs a sniper badly (and a stopper of a backup at SF. No that does not mean Sonny Weems).
James Jones opted out in Miami. He would fit the bill very well, including helping back up Derozan for after Barbosa leaves.

And he is cheap. Not going to get any cheaper so even if there are plenty around...there is also him. Always good to have a serviceable big, cheap, who will sit without complaining. What is not so common is he doesn't get rusty sitting there.

Its a good thing this team (executives and coachs) use advanced metrics to judge players or else these two would be given qualifying offers.... wait a minute.... what? I'm confused.

Dorsey should definitely be kept around for another 1-2 years. He's cheap, he's actually pretty effective for an 11th or 12th man when he gets to play, and he is a great locker room guy.

I actually like Wright's game a lot too although I can understand why they'd let him go after the falling out this season. I never quite understood why he didn't get more burn this season since he always seemed to make things happen on the court despite his considerable shortcomings.

James Jones wouldn't be a bad signing at all to stretch the defense and he isn't as much a liability defensively compared to other three point specialists. If we can't sign a Battier type Jones would be a great plan B.

Heat not playing JJ in the finals was mind boggling

James Jones would be a mediocre signing and I see him going to a contender rather than cash in.
-"You can’t run from me. I mean, my heart don’t bleed Kool-Aid."
-"“I ain’t no diva! I don’t have no blond hair, red hair. I’m Reggie Evans.”

If he is leaving Miami, I wouldn't be so sure, unless he is thinking LAL since they are the other team that would work with his position/skill set. Outside chance Orlando, but then why wouldn't he stay in Miami?
