It's good to see that losing really bothers him. I can't wait till they play team Canada. Him and Bhullar should be a good match-up. It should be nice to see how he plays against someone bigger that him.

Should be starting at 11:15-11:30, so about now... no stream as of yet. Live box score with play by play is all we get for the first 3 games.

LIVE SCOREBOARD (should go active soon - the time quoted is Latvian time)

...weird POL vs BRZ i on, but Lithuania and Korea has not yet started even though start times were identical.

I liked his response re: there should always be good defense and there is no excuse for that (I paraphrase).

Valanciunas with the first quarter double-double (17pts/10 rbs).

(on a perfect 7 of 7 from the field and 3 of 3 from the line).

JV played just 12 min. ...definitely not into padding the stats.

I guess the coach doesn't want to fatigue him, keeping in mind Jonas' physical shape. Although his stats look quite good already.

It is not really a reflection of his physical shape. It's a blowout.

And really the reason the koreans were destined to lose: Lit Rebounds: 48, Korea Rebounds: 14.

With a top height player at 6'7', I'd say 14 rebounds isn't that bad.
