Bullshit call against Kleiza
Bullshit call against Kleiza
yeah I also understand JVs role with this team he is still young and will have move opportunities in the future.
Also, this doesn't necessarily mean anything, but JV even looks more active on the bench in this game. Might mean nothing. I think it's a good sign because I was afraid of him getting to feel disengaged. In fact, that was my biggest fear about limited minutes, more than caring about development. Can't build your game much in 2 weeks, so I really just want this experience to build his confidence.
Songaila's played great this tournament. It's hard to believe he doesn't have a job as a solid role player in the NBA.
it would be nice to see a frontcourt rotation of Kleiza Songaila and Valancuinas get some extended minutes.
Jonas starts the 3 quarter benched. -_-
Their offense is generally smoother without a C on the floor
It looks like it's getting away from them a bit....
anyone? 3rd quarter now... not looking good
"I may be wrong ... but I doubt it"
nice shooting... NOT. you can't win againts anyone if you shoot like this as a team
UGH that mozgov dunk on Jonas![]()
JV back in, and instantly with the classic Amir Johnson weak foul
Another dunk, but not really his fault, there's no awareness for help from other guys....
I mean, he hedged hard and did what he was supposed to do on the pick. Usually someone drifts into the paint to stop that easy pass, because there's no way anyone can make up that ground that fast after hedging.
The one good thing, coaching-wise, about putting JV into this bigger lineup is that it really seems to have junked up the game a bit, so maybe Lithuania can take the momentum away when they put a more normal lineup back in.
