Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun is reporting that Jonas has rejoined the Raptors for full practices as of today.

    Ryan Wolstat‏@WolstatSun

Jonas Valanciunas returned to full practice for the #raptors today. Closing in on his debut
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am assuming that this means full-body contact practices...which would be tremendous in terms of his development and learning curve.

    According to Doug:

No one got a look at Valanciunas – if I had to guess, I’d say they get him to full work later this week and he plays a week Wednesday against Washington
    Doug Smith's Blog

I'd guess we won't see him Wednesday.

The Holy Trinity has spoken. Not sure what it's based on but Koreen is suggesting Big V is a go for tomorrow. So we have one yes (EK), one maybe (RW) and one no (DS)

    DS admits he's guessing though.

True. EK sounds a bit more convinced but I'd be interested to know what he is basing it on. Is it just that he practiced today?

    Eric Koreen ‏@ekoreen

Sounds like Jonas Valanciunas is likely to make his debut tomorrow vs. Detroit

as a side note, what's the over under for if/when "valanciunas" trumps "valance" when searching for him on google?

Funny how a tweet becomes a story. Then again, seeing as there is no game on Thursday, maybe I won't call this a story.

    Now it's a story with a quote!

"We’re going to throw him out there, we’re going to see how his body feels tomorrow after going through today and then we’re going to make that decision," said Raptors head coach Dwane Casey.

“Every time he gets the ball in the paint he’s trying to dunk it. So, it’s either going to be a dunk or a foul,” Raptors point guard John Lucas III said.
Reading that gave me a chubby...

I was at the game last night and he was throwing down some nasty dunks in warm up. He had some serious bounce in his step for someone who wasn't even playing in the game.

Dunk or foul.. thats what I want out of my starting center. Much better than Aaron Gray's funny jump-hook or clumsily-have-ball-slip-out-of-hands move

Excited to see the big man play tomorrow night. Unfortunately, having practice, I'm gonna be watching the hour replay.

Also, I would like to see Ross start with Derozan, they played very well together in the fourth quarter.

Seriously love John Lucas complimenting the big man. Lucas doesn't seem like the type to have respect very easily.

Did Smitty just refer to Greg Monroe as "Craig Monroe"???
