He might have, and apparently looks like (guess on my part), failed the physical. His knee might not be worth the $5.3M minus whatever Phoenix is paying this year.

I prefer a guy with both working knees.

Surprisingly less than the minimum. I'm not sure how that is possible :P

I don't know but I'd be shocked if for more than minimum and, if it was, I'd be amazed if it was longer than 1 year.

This is sweet. All three recent deals are exactly what I wanted; cheap, end-of-rotation players that'll be warm bodies in practice, won't take minutes from the core guys and won't add wins. Give BC credit.

I think that with the shortened season it would be nice for teams to have full rosters, of 15 guys, that way in back to back to back situations they can distribute min. wisely so players dont get too gassed. BC is just filling our roster up, keeping us ready for injuries, and a compact schedule.

Rasual Butler says DeRozan and James Johnson are good friends of his and played with Magloire for a while. Worked out with DD during lockout
    Interesting

With all these sigings and potential signings hopefully Casey can spread the minutes out evenly fairly for the condensed season. Butler's not bad though, a long 3-point threat. Pietrus would have been nice but healthy bodies are better.

We complain when there's rumors of the Raptors signing an impact player and thus affecting their lottery standing and we complain if they sign a average vet bench player who won't offer more than a break to JJ. Seems fair.

Butler is not as bad as some ppl think he is, we got him for a cheap price, can shoot 3's as good as pietrus (maybe even better) and knows what he's role on the team is.
